How do you pronounce "Execyte"?
Execyte is pronounced the same as "excite".
What are the rules?
No rules except two: Do not upload pornography and do not upload copywritten material. People who do have their IP addresses tracked for CYA purposes.
Do I have to give you my E-mail?
No. Execyte registration requires no e-mail. Lost passwords can be retrieved via answering your secret question or contacting the webmaster. Execyte registration only establishes you an account so you have ownership of what you upload, so you have a forum name, and so you can receive private messages.
Can I off-link files from what I upload to Execyte.com?
Sure. Example: If you have a forum avatar image that you can't find a good place to store, upload it here, then point your forum settings to the file.
What is the maximum file size to upload?
Currently 10 megabytes is the maximum size.
How much total space do I get?
100 petabytes. Or, one hundred million gigabytes. Same thing.
Why are some files shown with a preview?
Jpeg files have automatic thumbnail generation. No other files are currently supported for thumbnail previews.
